Captivate Network
Captivate Network is the company that puts TV screens into
the elevators of office towers in major cities across North America.
The top two-thirds of the screen carries news and other information
while the bottom third carries full-motion advertising. As a relatively
young company Captivate is looking for investors to help fund its
build-out as it gains credibility with marketers as an advertising
vehicle.
Objectives
Polaris mandate from the company was very clear: generate as
much media coverage as possible to build Captivates profile
with advertisers and the general business community.
Solution
Over the last three years, weve steadily worked the Canadian
media to generate substantial coverage for Captivate. While weve
been able to leverage specific announcements, the majority of our
coverage has come from pitching this unique concept as a Canadian
success story.
Results
Media coverage has surpassed both our expectations and those of our
client. Its included 45 feature newspaper articles including
The Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun and The National Post, countless
magazine articles, plus TV and radio interviews.
